LeBron James in the 2010 NBA SLAM DUNK CONTEST!!

LeBron James said he will participate in the 2010 Slam Dunk Contest in Dallas. Do you think he will win? How about Kobe!? Will Kobe enter? I hope so. Also, D-Howards final dunk was that good.

I didn't get a chance to watch it. I was at a road game. That sucks, luckily, my game tomorrow was canceled so i get c chance for the All-Star game. Very Happy

Nah Kobe Bryant wont play, the Dunk competition will be ruined if so many all stars enter the Dunk contest. The Dunk/3 point competitions should be kept for the 'other guys' and this gives them a chance to be in the light and participating in the big event.

Next years dunk contest will be ruined! Everyone will just vote for LeBron James. Go Nate Robinson!

Nate Robinson is the shortest to win the compitition, along with Spud Webb. He can jump waaaay higher than Kobe. Waaaay higher than Howard, etc.

Yeah i can see your point there Rjt that is true. Nate's dunk was mean as what a dunk, how the hell could he jump over a big man like Dwight Howard. Lol why he change his gear after he advanced to the Dunk finals? Hopefully Nate cam repeat his efforts in Texas. Who do you guys see wining?

I think the NBA Slam Dunk contest is returning to it's glory days.. where only the GREATEST dunkers and plenty of All-Stars join.. I have nothing against Nate Robinson/Jason Richardson/Rudy Fernandez style players that enter the contest, but I would really like to see LeBron, Melo, Kobe, D-Wade etc give it a crack Smile

That said, I reckon some of Superman's dunks were not worth the 50s that the judges gave him, no way. It was rigged so that Krypto-Nate and Superman would fight it out. It should have been a Rudy-Nate final, IMO

If LeBron does play in next year's Slam Dunk Comp., I think he will win. He is just too flashy for it.

To those who say Kobe is a good particapent, he said he was done with that Comp. He also said, "I'm done with it. Now the competitions I have are with my daughters in a Guitar Hero tournament."

Thats the thing mate i dont like how the big name all star players get a chance and take the position away from a nba player that isnt competing in any other event. Another thing is you wouldn't want to see a player with the likes of Kobe getting injured in a dunk contest and having to play the nest day.

This is who i would like to see in the slam dunk contest tomorrow: Rudy Fernandez, Russell Westbrook, Nate Robinson, LeBron James ...............

Yes I was thinking that Rudy Gay might get a shot at competiting at the next Dunk contest after getting ruled out of this years one. Haven't seen him play that much as only 2 games on esp per week and is hard to get a live stream but must be a good talented dunker as i have heard it alot. What you guys think? He have a shot?

I think Rudy Gay definetily has a shot. But I wouldn't put it in the bank just yet.

Yeah I finally got to see him in action with the Memphis Grizzlies, he certainly looks like a good talent on the Basketball Field and sure can dunk the ball pretty hard and good. Now I would certainly like to see him there in 2010. Anyone give the likes of Russell Westbrook a show?

Lol great one mate i would love to see the Oklahoma Thunder boys all complete it would be certainly good for the franchise but which one do you favour? For we westbrook would have the biggest chance but possibly Jeff Green for a wildcard imo. Have see Blake Griffing play college basketball and he seems like a good slam dunker

Mason or Westbrook would win. Mason has a record (not A RECORD, but a reputation) of dunking, and bringing some sugar to the dunk and some spice to the competition. Westbrook is full of youth and has that "spring" in his legs. Hahaha, I just thought of something, it could be Greater vs. Great episode 4!
